Fanatical Detailing

Boca Raton Marine Detailing

Marine detailing for boatsthat live in salt water.

Dockside gelcoat correction, ceramic protection, metal polishing, and cabin care along the Boca Raton and Intracoastal waterfront. Same standard we bring to garage-kept exotics, applied to your vessel.

We come to your slip, lift, or trailer. You do not move the boat.

Why Boats Are Harder Than Cars

Salt, sun, and standing water work around the clock.

A car gets a garage. A boat sits in the weather, in the water, and in full sun with nothing between the surface and the elements.

01

Salt Never Stops

Salt spray dries into the gelcoat and stainless every single run, then bakes in at the dock.

Daily exposure
02

Sun Chalks Gelcoat

Florida UV oxidizes the surface until color goes flat, dusty, and porous to the touch.

Oxidation
03

Waterline Staining

Brackish Intracoastal water leaves a rust-colored band that scrubbing alone will not lift.

Hull staining
04

Humidity Below Deck

Closed cabins hold moisture, and that is where odor, mildew, and vinyl damage start.

Interior care

What We Do On Board

Four areas of work, one visit.

Packages are built around the vessel in front of us, not a fixed menu. Take one area or all four.

Gelcoat

Wash, decontamination, and oxidation removal

Salt-cutting wash, hull cleaning to the waterline, then compounding and polishing to bring chalked gelcoat back to depth.

Restores color and gloss

Protection

Marine ceramic and sealant packages

A cured protective layer built for saltwater, so spray rinses off easier and the shine holds through the season.

Season-long defense

Metal & Teak

Stainless, chrome, and teak treatment

Rail and hardware polishing, rust spot removal, plus teak cleaning and oiling that keeps the grain warm instead of gray.

Details that show first

Interior & Canvas

Cabin, vinyl, and canvas care

Deep clean of seating and cabin surfaces, vinyl conditioning, mildew treatment, and canvas or isinglass cleaning.

Gelcoat, Explained

Gelcoat is not paint and it does not forgive.

It is a thick, porous outer layer, and every polish removes a little of it.

After the work is done, you notice:

  • Salt rinses off instead of drying into film
  • Color stays deep instead of chalking out
  • Waterline stays cleaner between trips
  • Cabin smells dry, not damp

That is why we measure the job to the surface. Cutting hard once feels great and costs you years of gelcoat later.

How A Visit Runs

Four steps, no surprises at the dock.

  1. 1
    Dockside walkthrough

We meet you at your slip or lift, look over gelcoat, hardware, canvas, and cabin, then agree on scope before anything starts.

  2. 2
    Salt and growth removal

Full wash with marine-safe chemistry, waterline and hull cleaning, and decontamination so polishing works on clean surface.

  3. 3
    Correction and polish

Machine compounding and refining on oxidized panels, matched to how much gelcoat the surface can safely give up.

  4. 4
    Protect and hand back

Coating or sealant applied, metal polished, interior finished, and a short care rundown so the work lasts.

Marine FAQ

Questions boat owners ask us first.

Yes. Most work happens dockside, in the slip, or on the lift. Bottom work below the waterline is handled separately since it needs a haul out.

A protected hull usually wants a maintenance wash every two to four weeks and a full detail once or twice a season. Boats kept uncovered on the water need it more often.

Usually. If the chalking has not gone through the pigment layer, compounding and polishing bring the color back. If it has, we will tell you before charging you for a polish that will not hold.

Yes. Gelcoat is more porous than automotive clear coat and it lives in constant salt exposure, so the prep, the product, and the cure time are all different.

A wash and protect on a smaller center console can be a few hours. A full correction on a larger cruiser or yacht may run one to three days.

Next Step

Tell us about your boat.

Send the make, length, and where she sits. We will come look, tell you honestly what the gelcoat needs, and quote from there.
